From a “one-man-project” in SME with only one hardware server and one VM for 5 users, up to high availability multi hardware solutions with many VMs we have a lot of experience. Also projects around data center solutions, with housing, with leasing of hardware at a local data center, or VMs or software or application as a service (SaaS) in Azure or AWS.

In about 20 years experience from Windows NT 4.0 Server to the current Version 2022 and more than 100 projects many customers were happy.

Most of the projects were migration form an older version to a newer version of Windows Server. Also a few projects were a complete new start for the customer with IT.

For this reason we could win with deep AG 2015 the “Studerus Avard” for a complex network project that was really special.

This is, we would say, the most important part in the IT business. But it is also the most neglected part. We all know the problems of crypto-ransom-ware or a crash of the data device. If there is no backup it is a disaster. Nobody needs this, in this reason we have over 20 years experience with backups onsite and offsite, the strategy and the software like BackupEXEC, Veeam and Altaro.

Today we don’t need anymore one server hardware for every server. Today we can virtualize your Servers on one or more hardware servers, with VMware, VSpere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox, KVM or other virtualization software

Also we do desktop virtualization with Citrix XenApp, Microsoft Remote Apps etc.

In bigger environments, it is necessary to invest a bit of time in a system, that shows you if something not really working like it should. In this reason we use monitoring software like Nigios, Nagvis Centreon, Icinga, Zabbix, PRTG or MRTG. If we also want the possibility to access unattended to a client, roll out software or patches, we could use an remote management software (RMM) like Ninja, Acmeo or Datto.

We also have a lot of experience in trouble shooting for you. It is great if everything works out of the box, without any problems, but it is not the reality. In the projects we have to work on trouble shooting, in the most cases something went also in this phase wrong. Later every day can happen a problem, a user cannot fix by him self. From “easy” to fix problems, level 1, up to special problems in level 3, we have to talk to the manufacturer to solve.

We have also experience in older OS like DOS, FreeDOS, Netware, BSD, Solaris, HPUX, etc. A special is the experience in a few old OS from German Democratic Republic CP/M, SCP, MUTOS/WEGA

We are no software developers. In the studying of information technology it was in fact a part of the education, but later was no practical experience in real software developing projects. But of cause, we can write little programs, understand code, write scripts etc. We need this also for the websites. Normally you are not completely satisfied with a template out of the box, we have to change things, we have to edit CSS files or sometimes also PHP files.
